Raza M. Khan MD FACS


Dr. Raza Khan is a board certified urologist with decades of experience providing comprehensive urologic care for adult and pediatric patients. He is known for his thoughtful approach, broad clinical knowledge, and long standing commitment to patient care in Lake County and the surrounding Chicagoland area.

Dr. Khan earned his medical degree from K.E. Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, graduating in 1968. He completed two years of general surgical training at The Ohio State University, followed by urologic residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, which he completed in 1976.

Following his training, Dr. Khan served in the United States Navy Medical Corps, attaining the rank of Commander. His military service further strengthened his clinical experience, leadership skills, and commitment to high standards of care.

Dr. Khan is board certified in both adult and pediatric urology by the American Board of Urology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Urological Association, along with numerous local, national, and international medical societies. He previously served as President of the Lake County Medical Society and has authored multiple articles and delivered lectures on a wide range of urologic topics.

Dr. Khan values clear communication, continuity of care, and long term relationships with his patients. He believes in providing practical, individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique concerns.

Dr. Khan brings a wealth of clinical experience, leadership, and dedication to his practice. His patient focused approach emphasizes careful evaluation, clear explanations, and dependable care across all stages of life.

He lives in Lake County, Illinois, with his wife and has raised five children.
